Reimagining Homeschool

I wasn’t sure about an "all in one" preschool, but I love it. She absolutely loves the activities. It’s beautiful and creative and she really is learning letter sounds, numbers, colors, shapes, and even the structures of a game.

We’ve been enjoying this program, both as the teacher and the student. My daughter has gained tons of confidence in her letters, and is really starting to actively make the associations between letter sounds and words! It’s been so much fun and I’m so excited to start going through it with my son next fall.

I'm really impressed by how well he's participating and how much he seems to enjoy it so far! I could never get him to engage much with the worksheets sent home from daycare in the past. I think having "Mr. Silly Snake" kick things off really got the ball rolling on a fun note.

The crafts were fun and we made day of it with my other kids! I’m so happy something like that was included (all of the games, too!). I struggle with trying to find games or crafts that go with things I am trying to teach them. I sometimes spend more time looking for ideas than actually making them. It has been a lot of fun learning from this curriculum!

We’ve really been enjoying the lessons and the boys are retaining their letters and letter sounds (which has been my main goal for them this school year). They look forward to doing the activities, games, and lessons. Meadowlark makes learning fun and engaging for the kids, and easy for me. 

And I love that there are Simplify and Expand suggestions for days we either want to explore further or just be done sooner, although we almost always go with Expand because we're having so much fun! :)

I used to download worksheets and thought that was enough, but my girls didn't enjoy them. Now that we're doing this curriculum, they're actively engaged in learning, and I see the gentle progression toward learning to read.
