We’re looking for a creative layout specialist who can bring our curriculum pages to life through clean, thoughtful, parent-friendly design. If you enjoy making educational materials clear, beautiful, and easy to use, this role is for you.
This role is ideal for someone who:
– Has strong layout skills (Adobe InDesign required; Photoshop and Illustrator preferred)
– Loves designing clean, functional education materials
– Has an eye for spacing, hierarchy, and user experience
– Enjoys collaborating with writers and educators
Early childhood education experience (including home education) is a plus, but not required.
Layout & Design
Format curriculum pages and educational materials
Maintain visual consistency across units and levels
Apply Meadowlark’s branding, typographic style, and structure
Work with the curriculum team to translate ideas into polished, parent-friendly and child-friendly pages
Curriculum Support
Give input on usability, clarity, and visual flow
Assist with graphic or illustration-based elements
Collaborate on revisions, updates, and pilot feedback
Optional (If Skilled): Content Contribution
Review lessons for clarity and parent usability
Provide suggestions on flow, visual cues, or layout improvements
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign
Detail-oriented eye for alignment, spacing, and readability
Ability to follow (and help refine) evolving brand standards
Strong communication and project management skills
Experience in curriculum or education design is a bonus
